RACE COURSE BUILD-UP

race course build-up
Time: 7am
Location: TiB HQ
This is the most important task and we need all hands on deck. We cannot race until the race course exists and we need your help! Please meet at the front of TiB HQ at 7am sharp.
Consider it a warm-up.

BREAKFAST

BREAKFAST & DINNER
Time: 8-10:30 and 18-20:30
Location: TiB HQ
For ECMC, the Fläming Kitchen will be cooking with us for the championship. They’re a vegetarian/vegan action kitchen, focused on using cooking to support political and alternative projects whilst saving vegetables. They work with fresh, ecological produce that is often deemed “wonky”, “too short, too thick, too long, too big” and doesn’t make it into the supermarket shelves. Every vegetable is sexy!

REGISTRATION

REGISTRATION & STARTER PACK PICK-UP
Time: 9-10
Location: Tempelhofer Feld
Registration for ECMC is open. If you've registered, you can pick up your starter pack.
Check-in (registered, paid and confirmed) is possible on the Tempelhofer Feld tomorow between 9-10am, however we have no more space for new registrations. Check-in will be at Race HQ.
This your last chance to ensure you're registered for the main race.

The ECMC Main Race is a workday simulation on a closed-course with unique road regulations specifi c to the course to give everyone a level playing field. The exact format varies from championship to championship, but several elements are always the same: You’ll receive a Manifest with your jobs for the work day, and it’s up to you to route yourself to the various checkpoints with with as much skill and efficiency as you like to do as be as successful as possible in as little time as possible. The course will be on Tempelhofer Feld, a former-airport. It’s flat, it’s fast, and it’s not all smooth sailing.
This event is open to all for cheering: please come and spectate, cheer and enjoy!
Qualifications for both Main Race and Cargo Race will take place on Saturday. You cannot take part in both.
Main Race and Cargo Main Race finals will take place at the same time on Sunday.
There will be 4 heats. Each lasts 100 minutes. Please arrive 30 minutes before your heat starts for a race briefing.
Further race details will be provided at the start of your race, with opportunity to ask questions. Please arrive ready for your qualifiers with time to spare.
Bike issues? On Saturday, the Ruckenwind mobile workshop will be at the race course, staffed by mechanics Anna and Jess - the DIY workshop is yours to use tools from. Thanks Ruckenwind for supporting riders!

WTNBIA+ FORUM

WTNBIA+ FORUM
Time: 17-19
Location: TiB HQ
Originally birthed from the *BMA – a group that formed to connect, empower and support anyone who doesn’t benefit from cis-male privilege within the messenger community, these meetings invite WTNBIA+ folks to come together to share experiences and build structures to improve ways of working - past meetings have led to changes to how events are run. You can be as active as you like, but there’s always space for you; finding like-minded folks who have had similar experiences is powerful and fun.

CRITICAL MASCULINITY WORKSHOP

CRITICAL MASCULINITY WORKSHOP
Time: 17-19
Location: TiB HQ
The messenger community is still very cis-male dominated: In our experience WTNBIA+ are always a minority on events and most of the messenger companies we know have a strong surplus of cis-male riders. With this workshop on critical masculinity we want to invite you to reflect on your own behaviour in order to make the messenger community a more inclusive space for all genders (including yourself!).

EXHIBITION

EXHIBITION

Location: Satellit, Weinstrasse 11
Your last chance to see the exhibition.

Johnny poses with a book for illustrative effect.
This event is open to all, even if you aren't registered for the overall ECMC event.

You can buy a cap from our merch stand, if you like.
