For ECMC, the Fläming Kitchen will be cooking with us for the championship. They’re a vegetarian/vegan action kitchen, focused on using cooking to support political and alternative projects whilst saving vegetables. They work with fresh, ecological produce that is often deemed “wonky”, “too short, too thick, too long, too big” and doesn’t make it into the supermarket shelves. Every vegetable is sexy!

MAIN RACE FINALS
MAIN RACE QUALIFICATIONS

Location: Tempelhofer Feld (north west section)
The race: One final. Everyone at once. Bikes and Cargo Bikes.
Arrive for race course build-up at 8:30 at front gate of TiB HQ.
The race starts at 10:00 and lasts four hours.
The race briefing takes place at 9:30.
Helmet is mandatory - no helmet, no race.
Bag is highly recommended.
Pen is highly recommended.
Bikes are highly recommended!
There will be physical cargo.

OPEN FORUM
OPEN FORUM
Time: 17-19
Location: TiB HQ
The open forum is a space to share and respond to news and topics surrounding championships and messenger culture. It is a space for all prospective host cities to put in their bid presentations for future events, as well as to discuss items on the agenda.
As with all official IFBMA* decisions, except for the ballot voting system, those reached at the open forum will be arrived at using the consensus method. More information on Open Forums by the IFBMA can be found by scanning the QR Code.
*The International Federation of Bike Messenger Associations (IFBMA) came into existence following CMWC ’98 in Washington, DC, USA. It exists to help foster solidarity in the worldwide messenger community, and to provide a non-bureaucratic decision-making body by which CMWC & Championship host cities can be effectively and fairly selected, and supported. All current and former bike messengers are considered part of the general membership of the IFBMA. However, if you would like to join the IFBMA as an active member, please take the time to come to a CMWC and attend the open forum.
