HOUSING OPENS

Time: Opens from 11am

Location: TiB HQ

Housing was made available with online sign-up. If you haven't registered for a housing spot and want one, please talk to the Reg Desk for info.

Our space to sleep is a private area for 150+ tents surrounded by trees. Within this big camping area, there will be a WTNB (FLINTA*) space too. Heading inside, we’ve got shower and toilet access for everyone. Showering during championships is great, we wholeheartedly recommend it.

Hammock spots are avaialble on a first-come-first-served basis.

Please be aware that the nights this week are cold.

Housing opens from 11am and has secured access at night. Any questions? Ask at Reg Desk.

Prestresstest: Gravelride + Lake DiP

Time: 12:30-19

Location: Starting from TiB HQ

Peter invites you in for a quick city escape before the weekend mayhem begins. We will leave the city and head north east to find some of Brandenburg‘s classic cadillac gravel roads, pine forests, water bison and one of the many lakes that surround Berlin. Be prepared for ~80km of asphalt and fast-rolling gravel roads, a coffee stop and some swimming action. Wide(ish) tyres and a helmet recommended.

DINNER

Time: 18-21

Location: TiB HQ

For ECMC, the Fläming Kitchen will be cooking with us for the championship. They’re a vegetarian/vegan action kitchen, focused on using cooking to support political and alternative projects whilst saving vegetables. They work with fresh, ecological produce that is often deemed “wonky”, “too short, too thick, too long, too big” and doesn’t make it into the supermarket shelves. Every vegetable is sexy!

They’re a volunteer-led kitchen, and we’d like to invite you to lend a hand cooking up a storm.

Find a volunteer chart and put your name down - QR codes on site and info at volunteer@ecmc2026.com - thanks!

PEDAL CINEMA

PEDAL CINEMA

Time: 21-23

Location: TiB HQ

This Kino (German for cinema) is powered by bikes. Lent to us by the folks at Freilauf, the cinema runs with a series of bikes hooked up to it: once the pedals are turning fast enough, the screen and sound come to life. We’ll need some leg power here. Consider it training.

Please wrap up warm and bring something comfy to sit on, as this event is outdoors.

The Film:

Souleymane's Story (2024). A Paris food delivery cyclist and asylum seeker named Souleymane has two days to prepare his story for a make-or-break interview to secure legal residency.

Souleyman left Guinea and came to France to apply for asylum. Without papers or money, he tries to get by as a bicycle courier for a food delivery service, working under awful conditions. Meanwhile, his appointment at the immigration office is getting closer and closer. Abou Sangare won the Best Actor awards at Cannes and the European Film Awards for his portrayal of Souleyman.

Runtime 1 hour 34 minutes.

Programming is organised by she36: a group that started of as a fixed gear group and now support bicycle culture throughout Berlin, with a focus on WTNBIA+ folks. You can find out more about them @she36_.

The Pedal Cinema is provided by Freilauf: a group of feminist antifascists, solidarity-based DIY punks, just climate activists, social networkers, and gene- rally active utopians. You can fi nd out more about them and their events at @freilaufcamp or http://freilauf.camp

This event is open to all, even if you aren't registered for the overall ECMC event. To join, please talk to an Orga Team member on site.
